Our Product Warranty
All TechniLite and TechniTwin light fixtures are tested a minimum
of five times before we ship to you. Typically lamp life for 4, 6, 8 and 13 watt T5 lamps is rated at 7,500 hours,
and 14, 21, 28 and 35 watt T5 lamps are rated at 20,000 hours life expectancy based on an
average running time of 3 hours or 6,700 starts.
What does my warranty cover?
We will repair or replace any TechniLite or TechniTwin light fixture
found to have a manufacturing defect. We fill repair or replace
(at the discretion of TechniLite Systems Inc.; see below) any
sign or sign part found to have a manufacturing defect. Ballasts
are warranted against manufacturing defect for a period of two
years, from the date of manufacture.
What doesn't my warranty cover?
TechniLite Systems Inc. will not repair or replace any sign or light fixture that has failed due to misuse, misapplication or abuse as determined by TechniLite Systems Inc. TechniLite Systems Inc. does not warrant the installation, maintenance or service of any product (unless there is pre-written specific agreement with TechniLite Systems) and will not assume any responsibility for any labour costs incurred. In no event shall TechniLite Systems Inc. be held responsible for any special or consequential damages arising from the purchase of any product, including damage resulting from misuse, misapplication or abuse of any product purchased from TechniLite Systems Inc. No claim shall exceed the original purchase price.
How long does your warranty coverage last?
Ballasts will be covered for a period of two years from the manufacturing date, and all mechanical parts are warranted for a period of one year from
the date of manufacture.
How will TechniLite Systems correct any problems?
In the event that your fixture or sign may fail simply call our toll free number at 1-800-730-5853. Supply the product code located on your fixture or sign, as well as quantity,
date of purchase and a description of the problem. (alternatively you may also fax the same information
to 1-705-741-5202) Once we receive the required information (and depending on which product you have
purchased; see below) TechniLite Systems Inc. will determine if the warranty applies and then iissue a "RMA" number (Returned Merchandise Authorization) if applicable.
How do I return a light fixture?
TechniLite Systems Inc. will send you a "Returned Merchandise Authorization" form to be filled in and returned to TechniLite Systems Inc. along with the fixture. Once received, the fixture will be tested to determine a reason for failure. If the product is found to have a manufacturing defect, the product will be repaired or replaced and returned to you freight paid. If it is determined that the failure was caused by misuse, misapplication or abuse TechniLite Systems Inc. will not repair or replace your product.
How do I return a sign product?
The product must first be returned to TechniLite Systems Inc. where it will be tested to determine the reason for failure. Once the reason for failure has been determined, you will be notified of the reason and resulting decision regarding repair or replacement. If the product is found to have a manufacturing defect, the product will be repaired or replaced and returned to you freight paid. If it is determined that the failure was caused by misuse, misapplication or abuse TechniLite Systems Inc. will not repair or replace your product.
Terms of Service
Typically (and for normal orders) our standard manufacturing period is 10 business days for lighting products, and 15 business days for sign products from the date of ordering. Different variables may affect this standard period from time to time and we will advise you at the time of ordering. We strive to meet these commitments, however these time frames cannot be guaranteed. Our minimum order policy is $250.00. Typographical Errors
TechniLite Systems Inc. is not responsible for typographical errors or omissions relating to pricing or customer retainment of staledated pricing sheets or brochures.
